The Challenge
True North HVAC is a residential and commercial HVAC company serving northern Minnesota, in business since 2016. They're good at what they do. But for nearly a decade, they'd grown entirely on partnerships, word of mouth, and referrals, with no real investment in their brand, their digital presence, or their marketing. That approach works until it doesn't. True North had set a clear goal: scale aggressively toward a PE acquisition, which meant they needed to start operating like a company worth acquiring. That starts with infrastructure.
Our Strategy
An HVAC company aiming at PE-level scale needs to look the part. That means a professional website, a clear brand identity, a marketing plan, and the ability to generate leads outside of referrals. We started with a deep discovery and marketing planning process, longer than our standard engagement, to understand True North's market, competitive landscape, and growth goals. From there we built the full infrastructure: website, ad creatives, and Google Ads campaigns targeting high-intent HVAC searches in their market. The website was live in four weeks.
